This June, revenge is a bitter deal in the period Western, TRADED, from Cinedigm and Status Media, starring country music star Trace Adkins (The Virginian, The Lincoln Lawyer), Michael Paré (Weaponized, Bone Tomahawk, The Lincoln Lawyer, Eddie and the Cruisers) and Country Music Hall of Famer, Golden Globe®-winner and American icon Kris Kristofferson (Blade franchise, A Star is Born, Two for Texas, Billy the Kid).  On June 10, the gritty drama will open theatrically in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, Phoenix, Denver and Kansas City, and day-and-date, be available on demand and Digital HD.

In 1880s Kansas, sharpshooter turned rancher, Clay Travis (Paré), goes from happily married father of two to a man on a mission after the disappearance of his 17 year-old daughter, Lily.  Determined to protect what little family he has left, Clay leaves his quiet ranch and heads to Wichita where, after confronting the ruthless Ty Stover (Adkins), he discovers that Lily's been traded away into an underground sex ring in Dodge City.  And it's there, with the help of an unlikely companion -- hardened old barkeep Billy (Kristofferson) -- that Clay makes a stand to bring his daughter home, leaving a trail of gunsmoke and bodies in his wake.

Filled with dramatic Western vistas and sweeping panoramas, TRADED, directed by Timothy Woodward Jr. (Weaponized, 4Got10), was shot in California and New Mexico, including locations in the Yucca Valley, Paramount Ranch and Big Sky Movie Ranch.  Co-stars include Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid trilogy), Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side) and, in her theatrical debut, Kris' daughter, Kelly Kristofferson.

"As a small-town boy growing up in South Carolina, I was weaned on all the classic Westerns," said Woodward Jr. "So, to have the opportunity to helm an emotionally freighted story of frontier revenge set in the 19^th century was more than a dream come true.  The highlight, obviously, for myself and the entire cast and crew was to watch a true legend, Kris Kristofferson, ply his trade in the same boots he wore in one of his first starring roles in Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid."

For years, the old woman in the woods has secretly kept the wolves of the forest at bay. But when the woman dies, the creatures suddenly attack the residents of a nearby small town. As more and more people turn up dead, the townsfolk discover something far more sinister than wolves lurking in the backwoods, and fight to save their home from evil by waging a bloody battle against the ruthless creatures. CONtv's FIRST ORIGINAL SERIES "FIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" SET TO DEBUT IN THE COMING WEEKS!!!!!!

 

From Alpine Labs, BlackBoxTV, and Revolver Picture Company, the unprecedented mash-up of reality and scripted genres, “FIGHT OF THELIVING DEAD” follows follows a collection of online celebrities including Joey Graceffa, Jesse and Jeana (PrankvsPrank), Justine Ezarik (iJustine), and more as they work to survive the first 24-hours of a simulated zombie apocalypse. Contestants will face a series of grisly challenges in an attempt to eliminate the competition through the undead’s frightening realistic onslaught. 

Shot over the course of two days at Sybil Brand Women’s Prison in Los Angeles, “FIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD” competitors were first blindfolded, driven in circles, led onto the set, and zipped into body bags, all to help simulate the all-too-real tension of awaking in a post-apocalyptic landscape riddled by monsters out for blood. Instructed by a faceless character named Dr. Altagracia (portrayed by Tony E. Valenzuela, Executive Producer and founder of YouTube’s #1 ranked genre channel BlackBoxTV), the “survivors” are tasked finding the antidote that can save mankind.

Enlisting over 200 extras, FX Supervisor Tommy Pietch (“Face Off”) and his team create a horrifying mob of rotting, wounded, bloody zombies tasked with keeping the competitors from accomplishing their mission.  “FIGHT OFTHE LIVING DEAD” also turns up the thrills by including a collection of zombie-clad Parkour experts, overseen by renowned stunt coordinator Chris Carnel (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), who use the prison’s walls as their terrifying playground, threatening to unleash destruction from any angle.

Requiring over 60 cameras to track each competitor as they fight to survive the game, each participant was also clad with their own GoPro cameras so that the viewers may get even closer to all the explosive action.
