First, lets take a
look at the offical synposis of this movie. “It
should have been a triumphant party night of double D’s for “The Wolfpack” —
Debauchery and Douchebaggery. As the party goes on, and they are hunted down by
the Butt Faced Killa, this pack of friends will ask themselves a lasting
question in the end: your bros may have your back … but who has got your ass?”
That right there should tell you where this movie, and my review is
headed....so lets have a good time shall we?
I've always liked films of any subject matter that have
near or no budget, because these men and women are doing this on the fly with
no chance have making time to actually act, which totally fails, and makes for
so much greatness. This time...Not so much greatness. These “boys” and I use
the term extremely loosely, are those high school/college kids that make the
audience wish had died of a terminal case of “asshole-itis” years ago. It is
that kind of film, that makes you want to wait until the good parts, and by the
good parts I mean the scenes that have a lot of red in them.
I am so happy to see him, her, it? The frat boys are taking shots, going to wild
parties, trying to “live the dream”. This all over course comes with
non-consented sex, also known as rape, which is always a thing to see in
movies. I hope everyone reading this can feel my sarcasm seeping through the
words...
In conclusion, I think this movie, from a horror aspect is
just, trash. The plot could be put together in about 30 minutes, the film could
have been completed in about 3 days, and that's all there is to it. I
tried to give this movie an open minded
opinion, but the amount of terrible, just makes it so much worse. Lastly, did
anyone else think that the “asshole killer” was one of the best killers they've
ever seen in a movie before besides me? I was cracking up sometimes at just the
pure irony of it all. Yes I am that kind of messed up individual, welcome to my
world.
Pros: I wasn't long enough to drive me to drink...
Cons: It gave me way to long to think about drinking...
The over kill of rape in this movie is staggering...
