levelFILM will release Out of Print, a documentary dedicated to cinema lovers, in select Canadian theatres on July 8 and VOD and digital following on July 12, 2016


Presented in 35mm, Out of Print explores the importance of revival cinema and 35mm exhibition - seen through the lens of the patrons of the New Beverly Cinema - a unique and independent revival cinema in Los Angeles.

The documentary highlights a unique group of film lovers, who believe in the power of cinema and the experience of going out to the movies. The New Beverley, where a double feature still costs $8 (cash only), is a hub for film lovers. A place where going to the movies is being part of an inclusive film club and where love of cinema is alive.

Out of Print  is the directorial debut of Julia Marchese who also served as producer on the project. Out of Print won the Programmer's Award at the 2014 Sidewalk Film Festival.
