EW has debuted the poster art for my latest venture into producing, Southbound, which will be getting a limited theatrical run on February 5th before heading to VOD just a few days later on February 9th.
The movie, set for release through The Orchard, includes stories
directed by Roxanne Benjamin, David Bruckner, Patrick Horvath and Radio
Silence, several of whom were involved in our V/H/S films.
The one-sheet is on point teasing the five intertwining tales of
terror unfold along an endless desert highway. All rounds lead south.
In Southbound, “On a desolate stretch of road, weary
travelers — two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to
the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his
long-lost sister and a family on vacation — are forced to confront their
worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and
remorse on the open road.”
The film is being compared to “The Twilight Zone” and “The Outer
Limits” while also drawing similarities to EC Comics morality plays.
