DIVINE TRAGEDIES GETS NAME CHANGE TO BLOOD BROTHERS AND THEATRICAL RELEASE THIS DECEMBER

 Divine Tragedies gets name change to BLOOD BROTHERS; gets theatrical release in December

Critically-acclaimed festival favorite THE DIVINE TRAGEDIES, from writer-director Jose Prendes, will be distributed in the US by Uncork’d Entertainment under new title BLOOD BROTHERS.

The first feature from Dual Visions, the company headed up by Jon and James Kondelik, has been called “a dangerous and perfect little nightmare that needs to be seen” (Aint it Cool News) and “simply divine” (Dread Central).

Due for a theatrical/VOD release December 2, it tells of two brothers that fulfill their murderous fantasies, but doing so derails their relationship with horrifying results. Rising star Hannah Levien, from TV’s The Magicians, genre favorite Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Ken Foree (The Devil’s Rejects), Graham Denman and Lynn Lowry (The Crazies) star.

Uncork’d Entertainment President Keith Leopard says he’s excited to be working with the Kondelik’s on the well-received film.

New York, NY - Wild Eye Releasing is honored to put legendary horror actress Debbie Rochon's directorial debut Model Hunger on the menu this summer.  After nearly 300 films, Rochon (Return to Nuke 'Em High, Phobia, The Theater Bizarre) steps behind the camera to skewer audiences with her blood-curling take on an actress' response to forced retirement.  She brings with her composer Harry Manfredini (The Friday the 13th franchise) and a cast of genre favorites. B-movie legends Lynn Lowry (Shivers, The Crazies, Cat People) and Tiffany Shepis (Tales of Halloween, The Violent Kind, Sharknado 2) headline as two women on a deadly collision course.  Supported by Brian Fortune ("Game of Thrones"), Suzi Lorraine (Wrath of the Crows) Carmine Capobianco (Galactic Gigolo) and Voltaire (ABCs of Death 2), the feeding frenzy begins July 12 nationwide on DVD and Digital HD. Former pinup model Ginny (Lowry) had been cast aside by the heartless and exploitative modeling industry.  Ginny didn't take rejection well and grew into a revenge-seeking, bloodthirsty, broken woman. When her new neighbors Debbie (Shepis) and Sal (Capobianco) move in, Debbie begins to notice strange things going on. Sal believes she is mentally unstable, but Debbie becomes determined to figure out what secret life Ginny is leading. Her new nosy neighbor throws a damper on Ginny's private life: her cannibalistic addictions and ever-growing body count. Both women become determined to put an end to the other's obsession.

           

Hide-and-seek turns deadly in eye-popping North Woods clip

             
North Woods stars scream queens Lynn Lowry (The Crazies) and Debbie Rochon (Tromeo and Juliet). The film is directed by Chris Moore, who co-wrote the script with Jason Kasper. They were inspired by Phantasm, The Evil Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Synopsis:
From within the woods, a blood splattered young man, John Prescott, runs out in front of a car, terrified and muttering gibberish. Enter Dr. Pamela Alley, an esteemed psychiatrist, and Detective Morris, her contact and partner from the local police force, who have just been assigned the boy's case. As the teen begins telling his diabolical tale of a local weekend vacation gone horribly wrong, it becomes clear that nothing is ever what it seems when a very troubled substitute teacher, with a webbed past of nightmares, emerges as the center of the proceedings. What keys does she hold to the nearly phantasmic events surrounding the area for the last several years?
