                    Blanc/Biehn Productions' Begins Production of Killer Weekend 

 

 Blanc/Biehn Productions (BBP), the powerhouse indie film studio founded by actors/filmmakers Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, announces that principal shooting for Killer Weekend has begun in Los Angeles.

 

 

Jamielyn Lippman (When the Bough Breaks) will direct the thriller, with an original screenplay by Travis Romero, who wrote the story with Lony Ruhmann; Romero and Ruhmann have also collaborated on behalf of BBP in the 2013 release Treachery and the upcoming Altered Perception.

 

 

Killer Weekend follows Kimberly (Vanessa Zima), a sexy young coed who’s enjoyed a lavish lifestyle thanks to rich Sugar Daddies, but quickly realizes she could access their money far more easily… by killing them. She soon meets her match, however, in her new rich, handsome boyfriend… who happens to also be a serial killer.

 

 

"We are already excited to start shooting this one in the next few days, and are thrilled to have Jamielyn on board as director, and Travis and Lony's story is twisted and amazing," said Blanc-Biehn. "This is one Weekend that fans of BBP's films are going to want to stay in for."

 

 

Killer Weekend stars Biehn and Blanc-Biehn in featured roles, as well as Andy Davoli, Alex Urbam, Jenise Blanc and Jasmine Jessica Anthony with a tentative release date set for early 2018.

Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn Go Global to Support New Film Projects

 

 

Couple to Appearing in Poland, Japan and More to Promote Upcoming Films 

 

 

The film-making couple Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn are set to launch a promotional tour across the world to promote their current and upcoming movie projects.

 

 

The husband & wife film-star team and founders of indie film enterprise Blanc-Biehn Productions (BBP) have begun a tour of Europe this summer with stops in Dublin, Ireland, Vienna and Oberwaltersdorf, Austria.

 

 

They will also appear at three Comic-Con fan expos in Europe: Wrexham, Wales (November 5-6); Manchester, England (December 3-4) and Kielce, Poland (November 25-27).

 

 

The duo will visit Japan September 14-21, then travel to Sitges, Spain to premiere BBP's She Rises / Psychophonia (aka Deadly Reception, starring Blanc-Biehn, out February 2017) and Hidden in the Woods remake (starring Biehn & William Forsythe, out December 2) at the Sitges Film Festival October 7th-11th.

 

 

Stateside, the couple will attend the Burbank Film Festival in California September 9 to premiere their BBP thriller The Girl (aka Psychopath, out January 6, 2017), and September 10 to support the 30^th anniversary of James Cameron's blockbuster film Aliens, where Biehn and stars of the sci-fi classic will treat fans to a special cast reunion. Biehn and Blanc-Biehn will then travel to Corpus Christi, Texas for a special event on September 28^th.

 

 

Blanc and Blanc-Biehn will also share action-packed details about Biehn's The Night Visitor Chronicles, which comes out in the U.S. November 5, among other new films in the coming year, many of which will see delivery via their Blanc/Biehn Productions (BBP), in alliance with new distribution label Splash House Pictures, Entertainment One, and IndustryWorks Pictures.

 

 

Blanc-Biehn Productions (BBP) has Fetish Factory, The Lincoln, and Good Family Times all in post-production.  Films being prepped by the production company include Fembot (Vance Crofoot directing), Killer Weekend (Jamielyn Lippman directing), and Almost Fatal (Staci Layne Wilson directing).
