We figured with October come and gone and Halloween as well maybe we could bury it in the Pet Semetery and bring it back. We don't want to way 364 more days! Oh enough complaining. Here is the last bit of information from David Moscati of M...oscati Vision.
16. Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
Most recently the biggest inspiration came from Mondo-Con. I spent a few days in Austin during the event hanging out with some other artists and realized how much I love what I do. And how much other love what they do. And how you can be very successful at something that you are passionate about. It gave me a bit of motivation to take on some new projects and complete things I had been meaning to get around to. Being in close quarters with so many other creative people always brings your A-game out.
17. What do you like and dislike about the art world?
I like the art world for what it is. A place that I can express myself in the way I best know how. And I love that so many other people do the same. I wish their were more people just as dedicated and passionate about art and design as the friends that I have made. However it is a double-edged sword because when you deal with subjective things like art, you will always have people dissecting it. Now, analyzing is perfectly fine but when it gets to scrutinizing and bashing other artists and their work it goes to far. People need to calm down and realize that everyone is in the same boat trying to accomplish the same goals.
18. What is your dream project?
Doing the official artwork for the new Mad Max trilogy. Road Warrior is my all time favorite film and if I were able to work on the new movies, I would be a very happy guy.
19. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
“If you’re good at something, never do it for free.” The Joker (The Dark Knight)
20. What wouldn’t you do without?
Coffee, Books, My dog and a sharpie.
21. Professionally, what’s your goal?
I hope to start my own design and print studio in the near future. How realistic is this goal? I guess it depends on some excellent decision making, a lot of motivation and me to kick my ass into gear.
