Today being mischief night in the US. We figured go with an exploitation film with some mischief. So this is David's vision Taxi Driver.
10. What themes do you pursue?
Well, I think it's obvious that I enjoy the horror side of things. It's difficult to find a fan base for it but with places like this, it makes it easier for artists like me to feel good about sticking to our guns. I also love sci-...fi and fantasy. I'm your basic nerd trying to relive his childhood through his art. I always am drawn to the darker side of stories. I like to seek out the grittiest way to portray an idea.
11. What’s your scariest experience?
Once, I ran out of coffee.
12. What advice would you give an aspiring artist?
I would have to say that the most important thing is to always have fun. Once you stop having fun then you might as well be at a desk in an office building crunching numbers. Doing art is what we do to get away from that sort of thing. Always enjoy what you do or you've lost the reason for doing it in the first place.
