Horror, Sci-fi & More's Art Expo featured artist of the week...Charles Moran (Week 1 Day 6)

Ok ladies and gentlemen today is the next to last day go Charles so he gave us two prints to feature Pet Semetery and Rear Window. since its the 2nd to last day... we doubled up the questions!

16. Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
The story I always enjoy telling is when I saw my first gigiposter at a show. Not because it was the first one I'd seen, but this one was badass. It was an In Flames poster done by Mike Fisher, aka MaxFlo http://www.maxfloindustries.com/about-us/, at the Troc. About a year or 2 later I stumbled on gigposters.com and I was hooked. There was this entire world of illustration and design that played by its own rules. I still have that poster.

17. What do you like and dislike about the art world?
I really try to lean toward the like instead of the dislike. Theres so much dislike in the world. All we need is like.

18. What is your dream project?
To work on a comic book, written by Frank Miller, starring Kurt Russel, who's a renegade trucker artist who illustrates concert posters for Dethklok.

19. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
There's no such thing as a free lunch

20. What wouldn’t you do without?
A Pencil, always need to draw. Also Water, I drink so much water.

21. Professionally, what’s your goal?
I'd like to continue to develop the horrorprints.com brand while pursuing my concert poster work. I've also got some ideas for sculpture, tshirts, etc.

Like all week if you like these it any of his stuff check him out. Give him a like. Be sure to check back tomorrow cause we along with Charles have a special announcement!
