7. What has been a seminal experience?
What??? Oh, I gotcha. I think when I drew my first charcoal pic
at a comic con.... I had run out of my comic book and had a full day
of nothing to do. So, I made some charcoal drawings that night
and brought them up. People flipped over both the horror factor
and my charcoal skills, which were at the time, a lot weaker. I knew
I had to pursue it.
8. What work do you most enjoy doing?
Charcoal horror! And 80's pop culture.
9. What memorable responses have you had to your work?
Tobin Bell and Linda Blair at different shows had reqested to meet me. They asked if they could have prints and I gave them prints
and the original work. It was humbling and empowering all at
once.
