Horror, Sci-fi & More's Art Expo featured artist of the week...David Moscati (Week 4 Day 2)

Even though it's still October we figured change it up a bit and feature some comic book art from David Moscati!

4. How has your practice changed over time?
I've gone through many changes in my routine over the years. I think the biggest ...change would be the process. Overtime you always refine your craft to best suit you and your needs. Becoming a more efficient killing machine... I mean creating machine.

5. What’s integral to the work of an artist?
One thing that I find to be most respectable about an artist is their willingness to stay true to themselves. I think the most successful artists stick to their guns and don't compromise their integrity.

6. What role does the artist have in society?
I think throughout history artists in all fields are one of the largest influences on culture. Whether it be film, comics or anything in between. We have a direct phone line to the public that is almost completely uncensored which is rare nowadays. It's also refreshing to know that most art is untampered with which allows you to appreciate it on any level, even if that particular piece isn't quite your thing.
