Day 5: The first cases start to flood in...their returning.
My week has come to end has I will complete my run with the final part of the trilogy...My pick is...
The third part (with Suspiria (1977) and Inferno (1980)) of a trilogy of films about the "Three Mothers."
Daria Nicolodi and Asia Argento are mother and daughter in real life.
The first screening of the film's trailer took place at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. On the same occasion, a restored print of Suspiria (1977) was shown in the Cannes Classics section.
Three scripts exist for this film Daria Nicolodi's, Dario Argento's and Jace Anderson and Adam Gierasch's.
The Italian distributor of The Third Mother, Medusa Film, believed the film was too violent and want it to be edited. Medusa's main objection is to "the depiction of perverse sex in the witch gathering satanic scenes and one cannibal killing of a major character." Argento was asked to re-edit the film to make it more mainstream.
When the bewitched mother is on the bridge and drops the baby off the side you can see the dummy baby hit the side of the bridge and the dummies hand fly off of it and splash into the water beside the dummy's body.
